I downloaded the demo of this - seems pretty fun ... but also seems there's quite a bit to learn for a n00b :/

I haven't found the right button etc - but wondering if I get guitar tabs of a song on the net, can I simply enter them somewhere for it to play ... and add a drum beat? ;)

No. Guitar tabs, as found on the net, show your 6 strings and the relevant fret. They often don't even show the right timing. You would have to get the proper sheet music for the guitar part and enter that into the program.

If you can find tabs with proper timing and know which fret on a string is which note, then of course you can transpose it yourself.

Aw.

Thanks Tim

Let me illustrate:

Unless you know that that's a C chord on 1, E on 2, a A note on 2.5 and a C note on 3 you'll have trouble putting it into fruity loops. Even if you do know, its quite a mission

What's the best production suite for remixing then? Or readapting sound?

Most guys i know use Reason & Cubase.

I use Garage Band on my iMac.

But both Reason and Cubase are great. Not easy though.

Google around for some tutorials on reason / cubase.
Quite a few out there.
