FSX problem (Can't Control Plane with ATC Windows Open)

Hi
In Microsoft Flight Simulator X, the Plane cannot be controlled with the ATC Window open.Like Turning and throttle.
is anyone else having this problem?
Is it a error in the game or does some settings have to be changed?

That's one that got me too and it appears to be a problem. If you know a way round it please let me know. One way might be to use separate controllers (and not keyboard) to control throttle and control surfaces.

The keyboard focus changes to the ATC/Multiplayer chat window when its open.

Joystick/Mouse/Xbox 360 controller still works when the windows are open but then you still cant use any keyboard shortcuts

I seem to remember this as a known problem with FSX. Check out the support forums. Have you tried the service pack/accelerator to see if it has a fix?
