I Would like 2 know if some 1 from another country uploads something to me will i loose bandwidth or will they loose bandwidth

But thats f*ked up. it would be cool if other people from another country could upload then u woundt loose bandwidth

The International Person will be using his bandwidth to "UPLOAD" data to you, while you will in effect be "DOWNLOADING" data from him. So if the data we are talking about here is eg. 1GB, he will use 1GB to UPLOAD it to you and you will also use 1GB to DOWNLOAD that data from him. The one cannot go without the other.

That is not F*^$ up. It is the basis of how the internet work. You visit www.google.com. You download the site from their servers, and they see this on their Upload counter.

And by the way, this is not Telkom's fault :p

I Hate telkom. I came back from china 2 weeks ago and was surfing at 24mb/s and downloading round about 8 mbs uncapped they pay round about R100 for this..... wish i was statying there

So, bandwidth actually gets paid for twice then. The guy uploading pays for his bandwidth and the guy downloading also pays for the bandwidth. No wonder Telkom is so wealthy :D

Well, No. The person on the International side does not have to worry, his Provider+ISP is not Telkom and the chance of him being on a TrueUncapped option is rather high.
