Congrats. Please tell the people to be patient with the trenching. Reinstatement happens a couple of weeks after the trench was dug, but the reinstatement it top notch.

Yeah, incredibly excited.
We have done done comms to residents and Vuma was quite open with residents about being patient.

Now for the wait...

Depending on which side you live.... The fibre is coming....

Can't wait for this I can get 50 mbps uncapped for the same price I am paying for 10 mbps uncapped,

I'm currently with Bitco.

Don't complain....i am on 2Mb.... On good days. On bad days on 1.8Mb.

Should happen soon. Cannot wait!

Yeah the ADSL in the area is terrible, I had the same problem before I switched to the wireless p2p link with Bitco.

I considered the same but then I decided to drive the fibre in my area and it would benefit all. Win/win in the long run.

How far along is yours?

No installation happening this week. They are starting the whole suburb next week Monday. So will post then.

More delays. No wayleaves have been issued. Waiting on JRA. Sigh

After the Blairgowrie fokop, hopefully jra are being a bit more diligent.

Dates have been pushed out while we wait for the way leave documents. Not sure how long but will be a month delay next Monday for part of the suburb.

We wait in solidarity. We must be strong in this time of need.

Yeah, JRA can sometimes drag their feet quite badly

Wayleaves have been received, construction starts the week of the 7th. Phase 1 ready date has been moved to 22/04, other phases TBC.

Where did you hear this?

Edit: this area doesn't even have a phase 7.

Edit: I am an idiot. True story

VUMA is Coming!

VUMA has received the wayleaves for Gallo Manor and will be starting the installation of its fibre infrastructure next week.

Please keep an out for our resident liaison team in their pink visit-vests. They will be engaging with the community and answering any questions or concerns you may have.

If you are unsure of the construction rollout, please take a look at the Gallo Manor rollout schedule. If you have any queries or concerns regarding the construction process, please take a look at VUMA's construction pack. This will educate you on the processes followed and answer all questions on the timeline, trenching and reinstatement process.

VUMA looks forward to working closely with the ZFHOA community to ensure the successful rollout of VUMA's fibre infrastructure.

As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.

Regards

The VUMA Team
