Anyone with a suggestion for an app to track fuel expenses? Need to be able to add historic entries. Don't mind dropping some cash on it if it works well.

Been trying out VehiCal which does pretty much what I want, but it crashes when you change the units and no updates seem forthcoming. The appstore is flooded with these types of apps, so hoping to narrow down which ones to try if anyone has useful input.

Numbers has a built in vehicle log template you can customise.

I use Gas Cubby (paid version) there is now an ad supported version which is free. Works well ... if only I didn't live 1.5km from work I would find it more useful - LOL

I use Fuelly. Not sure if it is 100% what you are looking for but it does keep track of your fill-ups, expenses, fuel economy and total distance traveled between fill-ups.

Looks nice. I had a look at the video demo. The date is populated automatically, but can you hand edit it? I want to add historic entries as well.

You can add historical fills. All you do is tap on the date field and a date selection screen comes up.

Thanks think I'll drop 99c to support someone local :D

Thanks, appreciate the support :D

BTW, update just released. New (much nicer) UI, vehicle license renewal reminders, add notes to fuel entries, etc. User guide included in app, will update video someday soon.

Bought it. Local is Lekker! :D

New interface looks nice and smooth. I'm still deciding which is a better interface for the odometer. With VehiCal they had the Rolodex interface which remembers your last odometer, so you end up only having to change 3-4 digits on the dial. But I do find that punching it in from the keypad is pretty quick regardless. Might be worth checking out if you feel like it.
