Just wondering, where does the price between coastal and reef change? I'm driving up to Bredasdorp from Cape Town this weekend, and someone has told me they pay R12,05 per litre up there, even though they are close to the coast. Should I rather fill up here in CT? Where does the difference between coast and reef happen?

Petrol price increases 1 cent every 10 km from a coastal center. E.g I live 50 km from durban along the coast and it costs 5 cents more here than Durban. The last place you get "Durban" price heading south is Prespecton. You will find the same thing leaving Cape Town, and you will start paying increased prices, possibly from the Engen garage near Paarl. It does flatten out into interior prices, but I'm not sure where the cutoff point is. Fill up in Cape Town if you want to save a few cents.
