Good morning. Last year i bought an Opel astra 1.6 1996 model.it was standing underneath a tree for 5 years i checked it out saw that it had minor surface rust and that it still looked good for a car that was standing for so long except for the suspension and wheels that were completely rusted which i replaced. I took the car to a mechanic which was referred to me by a colleague to get the engine running again as i did not have tools at the time 8 months went passed(which i bought engine parts and a fuel pump, 2 to be exact and a new battery which was left standing on the floor to lose its charge)finally i told him that I've waited too long i am taking the car back home, the engine runs now but when switching on the ignition the fuel pump constantly primes. I checked the fuses and followed the wiring and saw that he had cut the fuel pump wire and directly connected it to a relay just below the ecu box which left the fuel pump on and now I'm struggling to find where the other end of the wire is just so i can reconnect it and also I'm going to get a new battery ,can anyone assist me in finding where the location is of the fuel pump wire so i can take it off this relay thanks in advance
