I read that Fujitsu 2.5inch laptop drives when connected by USB (or any other way) draw less power than other drives because they use improved proprietary ball bearings. Has anyone heard of this?
I have an external 500GB Fujitsu and it seems to work on USB ports other (Seagate, Hitachi, Samsung, WD, Maxtor) don't want to work on. Has anyone heard of this?

Ta :)

My Fujitsu drive worked the same with front ports of a PC I had, while other drives simply wouldn't run, had to plug them in the back.
