A fast growing company is seeking a Senior Analyst Developer – Java, EE, Portal. This is a senior role and the candidate must be a high performer with a proven track record.
REQUIREMENTS:
• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering would be preferred;
• Ideally 5 – 8 years post graduate experience in building and designing large scale, complex software systems.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position involves the balancing of technical, instructional and mentoring skills with strong communication and consultative skills. This person is involved primarily in implementation and additionally in high-level design, code reviews, testing and overall process improvement.
Develop java applications, backend services and integrations, web applications and portlets;
Participate in technical design of applications and integrations to ensure business requirements are properly satisfied;
Analyze database schemas, data models, and data integration requirements;
Develop detailed technical design documentation;
This position requires the candidate to provide technical leadership to the team, including an active involvement in the up skilling and training of the team;
Conduct unit testing and systems integration testing;
Assist with the development of test cases and scripts as needed and analyse the results;
Assist with troubleshooting and provide recommendations for remediation;
Assist with documentation to guide implementation and ensure proper setup of environments, providing guidance during deployment as necessary;
Work closely with the Technical Architect and Business Analysts.
