Analyst Developer – Financial Markets Consulting
Acuity Consultants is currently searching for an Analyst Developer for a leading financial markets consultancy. In this role you will act as a Technical Product Specialist on a world class risk management and trading application. You will be consulting to major banks in Southern Africa and will be responsible for the technical aspects of software implementations as well as custom development work. You will receive extensive training and you will also have opportunities for international travel in the role.
To be considered for this role you must have: – IT or Engineering Degree from a leading university with a strong academic record
-strong software development skills in either C++, C#, Java, Python or similar.
-excellent database skills ideally with Sybase, SQL Server or Oracle
-UNIX or Linux knowledge
-4+ years of consulting, telecoms or financial services experience
Previous experience with trading or risk systems such as Riskwatch, Adaptiv, Kondor, Murex, Calypso, Fenics, Front Arena or similar would be a major advantage.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain in-depth financial markets knowledge and work across a broad range of products and asset classes.
