Leading IT Solutions Provider (based in Johannesburg north) is recruiting a Business & Process Analyst/BA/BPM Consultant with 2 to 3 years BA/BPM experience preferably within a banking/financial environment. Type position: Permanent
Remuneration: Cost to Company negotiable depending on candidate’s experience, qualifications and skills.
Skills and experience required:
· IT degree or Diploma
· 2 to 3 years plus Business Analysis/BPM experience using BPM Tools e.g. FileNet, Tibco Staffware, Metastorm etc.
· 2 to 3 years plus experience in assessing, analysing, optimising, documenting, implementing and testing end-to-end enterprise business processes.
· Must have a solid understanding of Business Analysis and Business Processes.
· Business Cases Business analyst involved with assessing, mapping and optimizing business processes.
· Applying formal business process modelling or business analysis methodologies.
· Ability to interact with clients at all levels, from facilitating design workshops and conducting end user training to leading presentations to middle management.
· Must have strong Business Process Re-engineering skills.
· Requirement for end-to-end business processes and the issues related to process performance in a traditional organization.
· Knowledge of UML in order to assist or collaborate with system analysts in the production of design specifications.
· Knowledge of and experience in applying formal business process modelling or business analysis methodologies.
· Understanding of the requirement for end-to-end business processes and the issues related to process performance in a traditional organization.
· Knowledge of process modelling standards such as IDEF, BPMN would be advantageous.
· An understanding of Change Management and its importance in business process transformation.
· User Requirements Analysis and Definition, Structuring & Validating User Requirements.
· Modelling the Business/System, Process Modelling, Data Modelling, Work Flow Modelling, Modelling Tools & Techniques, New System Modelling.
· Facilitation and Elicitation Skills for Business and Systems Analysis.
· Process/Workflow Modelling.
· Functional Systems Specifications.
· Test Specifications and System Testing.
· Project Plans.
· Must have strong Process Flow Analysis skills, experience with the implementation of strategies and preparing and presenting recommendations.
Must have experience with any of the following BPM products:
· OvaFlo
· IBM FileNet
· Webspere Process Server
· Lombardi
· Adobe life cycle
· iLog
Experience with any of the following modelling tools:
· Aris
· IBM Rational
· Enterprise Architect
· Microsoft Visio
