My client an independent information technology company providing on-line real-time(OLRT)management of healthcare transactions to both funders and providers of healthcare is looking for a senior BI developer
We are looking for your :
• Matric
• BI/Cognos training
• Tertiary qualification e.g. B SC or B Com – Information Technology degree would be advantageous.
Cognos – a min of 3 years’ experience
• Cognos 8 Metadata Modeling (Framework Manager)
• Cognos 8 Report Writing (Report Studio)
o Relational (off relational data sources)
o Dimensional (off cubes)
o SQL (SQL query against Microsoft SQL Server)
• Cognos 8 Dimensional Modeling (Transformer)
SQL – a min of 3 years’ experience
• Microsoft SQL Server
o Proficient in writing queries and stored procedures for reporting & testing purposes
The following technical skills will be advantageous
• Microsoft SQL Server 2000 DTS, including active X-scripting (VB script)
• Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Transact-SQL & stored procedures
• Ralph Kimball Data Warehouse star schema methodology
