A large company located in Cape Town is looking for a C# developer. The C# developer will be responsible for designing, building, testing and developing C# sites.
The candidate should be able to suit the small group of highly motivated individuals who are passionate about the internet and the way in which it can influence people’s lives. If you feel that you want to be part of a team that will help define the future of web applications on a global scale then you are the right candidate for this position.
The candidate’s responsibilities are:
•To implement software systems according to the accepted technical specifications.
•To implement new software and changes according to the accepted technical specifications.
•Deliver on new requirements and enhancements to existing systems.
•Maintain and enhance existing websites and application
•Contribute to product innovation
Qualifications
•A minimum of 5 years programming experience in the relevant fields
•A relevant tertiary education
•Solid understanding of the web and associated interfaces
•Solid understanding of: REST, Web Services, SQL, XML, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS
•UML experience will be advantageous
•Expert knowledge of using relational databases, SQL and an understanding of networks.
•Web 2.0 methodologies including AJAX
•Experience on open source development
