C#.NET / GUI Software Developers (x4 Senior and Mid Level)
Rosebank, Johannesburg
Salary Negotiable depending on experience
Minimum Requirements – Must have at least 3 years experience in developing software; – Matric essential; – Drivers license essential; – Financial or Accounting Experience is Beneficial; – Graphics Experience is Beneficial.
Duties and Responsibilities – Input into detailed Software and GUI specifications within the context of the companies’ projects, working with the technical team and other departments; – Development of User Interface applications; – Support for application design, implementation, debug & maintenance tasks; – Migrate legacy systems; – The specific responsibility for this position is the user experience: Graphical User Interface, streamlining system operation, automating multiple user function choices etc.
Skills – .NET experience required; – Development in an Object Orientated environment using C# and VB; – SQL Database experience, or MS SQLServer or Postgress; – GUI front end development experience; – Past experience with software testing; – Must have an in-depth insight in the technical principles.
Competencies – The position requires considerable self-direction and is best suited for adaptable, articulate individuals who can work well both on their own and with other people; – They value good problem-solving skills, ability to learn quickly, persistence, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a challenging atmosphere; – Characteristic properties is a strong analytical capacity, innovation and independence.
