We are seeking an awesome software developer intern to join our tightly-knit team of rockstars. The majority of our software is written in object oriented PHP and deployed to cloud services. We have a wide range of interesting problems requiring robust, scalable solutions.
Key Tasks:
- You would be responsible for assisting or leading the development of Facebook applications, Web storefronts implementing Facebook Connect, cloud-based data integration and transport services, and varied personalization algorithms.
- In this fast paced startup environment, your ideas and contributions will be taken very seriously, and you will receive recognition for it.
- Anyone may apply (we favour talent and intelligence over qualifications/experience), but we’re typically seeking someone with a background in computer science who understands PHP 5, Javascript (jQuery), and web services.
- The internship length is variable based on availability and review periods (e.g. 3 weeks – 3 months).
- Remuneration (e.g. unpaid to paid), and exact requirements (e.g. equipment, travel) will be tailored on a case-by-case basis.
