An international automotive company is looking for a development engineer To plan, design and develop cost effective vehicle components/systems. Compile & issue engineering parts list with assembly instructions.
• To issue complete Engineering past list, drawings and installation instructions on time, and according to instructions.
• To assess and approve installations, received by supplier. Issue drawing if required. Outcome to be accurate, on time, and complete, as per specifications.
• To act on instructions/discussions (from production line, warranties etc), i.t.o. technical problems. To propose solutions, responsible for presentation to implementation phase. Responsible for the releasing of the correct Engineering documentation for production,
• Responsible to co-ordinate projects allocated, through the effective planning and co-ordination of activities to ensure the effective implementation of the project.
• Responsible to do effective and efficient reporting on the component interface between the company and Suppliers.
• Responsible to draft and supply the correct and complete works requirements to the development workshop.
We are looking for your following experience:
• Coordinating and planning of projects
• +/- 5 – 8 years relevant experience
• Experience as Diesel Mechanic (artisan experience) – (advantageous)
• Grade 12 or equivalent
