Leading company based in Kenilworth, Southern Suburbs, Cape Town, has the following position available:
The position is a permanent assignment to assist with programming, implementing and supporting new developed applications.
The position will be reporting to the Development Manager.
Skills, Experiences & Educational Requirements
A good command of the English language, both written and spoken and be confident in communicating with people at all levels. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Assertive, self motivated and figure orientated. Minimum matric but preference will be given to further educational background (Front End Development).
At least 2-3 years development experience in:
· vbscript / java script / html and;
· Be able to write code to handle client side data validation
· Be able to assess the format of data entered. Is it correct?
· Be able to manipulate date ranges on the client from a calendar control
· Be able to filter dropdown boxes using selection of another dropdown box as filter and posting back via Ajax
· Retrieve data from SQL using Ajax
· Insert / update data in SQL using Ajax
Other:
Be in possession of a valid drivers license with own transport and must be prepared to travel.
