This exciting environment focuses on Financial services based systems build including both Product as well as custom development of new real time transactional systems. The environment is a mid sized dev shop offering an unusually wide range of work across web, windows as well as platform (Sharepoint, K2.NET) which makes it a very interesting place to sink your teeth into some outstanding project work.
The basic skills needed are:
In depth C#.NET with experience across multiple versions including Visual studio 2008;
Strong MS SQL design and coding skills including Database Design and Stored Procedures;
An understanding of Collections;
Knowledge of Infragistics;
Strong Practices and Patterns knowledge needed including Enterprise Library;
You must have worked through the SDLC on nTier based systems.
The nice to have skills: (NOT essential but very useful)
Experience of both Windows Forms and Web based development using ASP.NET;
AJAX including the ASP.NET AJAX Toolkit;
Unit Testing;
Interoperability;
MSF;
Any knowledge of K2.NET 2003 and/or Black Pearl advantageous;
Any experience using Sharepoint advantageous;
Accpac Integration;
Systems Analysis and design experience;
LINQ;
Active Directory Integration.
Permanent; Centurion; negotiable between R25K and R30K ctc per month
