ThoroughTec is a global leader in the supply of mining equipment simulators for application in both surface and underground mines and is the leading supplier of military simulators in the South African market. These simulators are sold internationally under the CYBERMINE™ and CYBERWAR™ brands.
ThoroughTec, whose head office is in South Africa, is in the process of establishing a global sales and support network. Offices have been strategically located in Perth and Toronto and further offices are planned.
ThoroughTec is seeking a top IT Administrator to join a young dynamic team located at its head office in Durban, South Africa. The successful candidate will play an integral role in keeping ThoroughTec abreast of international IT trends and maintaining our complete IT infrastructure.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
· MCSE.
· 5 years relevant experience.
· Firewall configuration knowledge.
· VOIP implementation experience.
· Windows Server and SQL experience.
· Detailed Networking and Internet Protocol understanding.
· A positive and determined approach to solving problems.
· The ability to work in a close team environment as well as the capability to work independently, whilst taking responsibility as an individual.
· A positive and engaging attitude in dealing with people.
· Excellent organisational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
