Our client is recruiting a dynamic Junior Project Manager with at least 2 years plus project management experience in applications/software development and infrastructure.

Remuneration: Cost to Company negotiable depending on candidate’s experience, qualifications and skills.
Skills and experience required:
· Minimum of 2 years experience in managing software development/integration and infrastructure projects.
· IT related degree or diploma (Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Applied mathematics)
· Compulsory (non-negotiable): 2 years plus experience with EPM 2003, 2007 or 2010 and at least 2 years plus experience with MS Project.
· Must have good experience with full SDLC projects, systems support, integration process and facilitation as well as infrastructure projects.
· Must have good experience with resource and capacity planning.
· Experience in warehouse/logistics/supply chain/transport management will be huge advantage.
Job functions:
· The Project Manager will be responsible for the total execution of the project, from concept to close, ensuring that the project meets its objectives, that the deliverables are complete, produced to schedule and budget and meet the quality, as specified by the customer.
· The project manager will manage all the resources deployed in the defined work streams of the project.
· Achieving the predefined target dates that have been set for fixed term / cost delivery of certain phases of the project.
· To develop interventions and plans of action to address complex problems.
· To ensure that the project is properly communicated internally to stakeholders and external stakeholders involved.
· Achieve cross skill requirements of part time resources.
· Make recommendations aligned with the specifications to ensure that the specific requirements of the project are achieved.
· Manage the process of producing and consolidating detailed plans, schedules and budgets from the statements of work and obtain the related approvals.
· Manage and co-ordinate the implementation process of the project, both the functional aspects and the human resource requirements, ensuring delivery of all capabilities within the scope of the project.
· To follow a holistic approach in constantly analysing the environment and making recommendations to management in terms potential changes.
· Contribute to the general project management community through sharing experiences and information, which has been gathered through research and execution of projects.
