Description:
Junior to mid-level IT Support Technician required for IT Consulting company in Northern Suburbs.
Candidate will be required to do entry to mid-level SLA Support, hardware installations and software repairs such as re-installations and virus removals, as well as network cabling.
Skill Level Required:
- 3-4 Years Practical / Onsite IT Support Experience – 3-4 Years Telephonic IT Support Experience – Desktop and Notebook Hardware Assembly and Upgrades – CAT5 Cabling & network project management – must be able to plan and implement from actual cabling to server cabinet management
Installation, configuration and fault-finding required for the following platforms:
- Microsoft Windows 98 to Windows 7 – Microsoft Office XP to Office 2007 – AntiVirus / Anti Malware – Desktops and Notebooks – Network Printers & Scanners – ADSL Routers – Network Switches – Point of Sale Equipment – Wired and Wireless LAN
Other Requirements:
- Must reside in Cape Town, preferably Northern Suburbs – Must have South African Citizenship – Must have valid driver’s license for 5 years or more – Must be bilingual: English AND Afrikaans
