Summary of the job
PDT is a fast growing young company that requires I.T Technician & Specialist with 2 years experience to service our client by software & hardware installations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Site visits and prepared to work alone and as part of a team * Be willing to travel and work on Mine sites for several days * Computer hardware repair, hardware & software preparation & Configuration * Installation of hardware & software * Equipment repair * 2nd line support, remote support * Maintenance * Windows XP and Windows 7 troubleshooting (Windows Embedded an advantage) *Keep installation documentation up to date
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must have the following knowledge, skills, and/or ability. * PC maintenance and support A+, N+ * Windows XP, Windows 7 and Linux experience * Networking experience * Valid drivers license (Code B) with own reliable transport
