Description:
Single sign on banking project requires a senior JAVA developer to design, code, test and debug. Produce complex program specifications and implements system enhancements.
Knowledge and Experience:
• Relevant IT Degree/Diploma or experience
• Matric
• At least six years IT experience.
• At least 3 years Development experience.
• Exposure to relational databases (DB2).
• At least 2-3 years Java programming experience
Java Certification.
• Solid development experience in J2EE, Servlets and EJB.
• Solid experience using SOA, Web services, XML and other related standards.
• Experience in HTML, XHTML, CSS, JSP and JavaScript.
• Exposure to BEA WebLogic / IBM WebSphere / Tomcat / JBOSS and/or Apache.
• Exposure to OO Concepts and Programming.
• Exposure to UML.
• Experience in C programming would be beneficial.
• Understand design and coding patterns.
• Good understanding of GUI development best practices.
• Understanding of system design concepts and policies.
• Exposure to Systems Architecture would be beneficial.
• Exposure to Linux and Windows environments.
• An understanding of the Foreign Exchange business would be beneficial.
• Exposure to the financial services industry.
This is a permanent position offering to R680k per annum
