Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary education, from an established university or Technikon
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience working in a corporate Java development environment
Experience using J2SE, J2EE and SQL Server 2005/2008
Some experience using J2ME
Experienced in all stages of the software development life cycle
Minimum 2 yrs MySQL experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
Produce quality code that is well documented, and in accordance with system and technical specifications
Develop according to clients specifications
Design and Development of Java Applications
Development of new database driven Java Applications
Development of modifications and add-on modules to existing Java applications
Maintenance and support of Java Applications
Some C# development experience would be beneficial
