Entelect Software is urgently looking for young dynamic software developers with IT related degrees.
Entelect works with some of the top companies in South Africa and has a strong client base spanning the financial, engineering, military, IT, telecommunications, retail, broadcasting, entertainment and academic sectors plus works with the latest technology.
Entelect prefers to build people from the bottom up, so offers very strong career growth potential. Developers have strong growth paths, and can grow into Systems Architects, Analysts, Team Leads, Programme Managers, Technical Leads and General Management within a very short period. Applicants must be eager to learn, have obtained their degree (Computer Science or Engineering) from one of the leading universities and have excellent communications skills.
Working environment: – Strongly results focused, with regular financial rewards for hard work – We don’t micro manage – Our approach to development is Agile in nature, where we engage regularly with the client – We have never missed deadlines, so at times guys work overtime, however we set projects up that they can be done in good time – Relaxed working atmosphere; chill room has a Pool Table, TV, Bar, etc
We are currently looking for Java developers with at least a year of Java development experience.
The candidate should be familiar with (but not limited to) as many of following technical skills as possible. Not all skills are required, but will be beneficial.
- J2SE 1.4/1.5/1.6 + – J2EE Architecture – JSP – Servlets – JDBC – Swing – MVC pattern – JBoss JBPM JPDL – Eclipse IDE – Hibernate – Spring – SQL – HTML – XML – SOAP / Web Services – Apache Ant
