Our company based in Pinetown (IT Dynamics) is looking for 2 x Java Developers to join their Java development team.
Job Objective – Work with a team of Java developers, mainly on (but not limited to) Java web based applications. – Analyze, design, program/develop, document, implement and support various Java based applications. – Investigate/design/develop Workflow processes which form part of our Java based Workflow framework. – Liaise with customers and/or project managers for application development requirements. Job requirements
– Have at least 2 years of Java web based development experience. – Have a passion for Java development, with a view of improving and growing their Java development skills/career. – Be able to work with minimal supervision (self managed). – Have the ability to research and problem solve independently. – Run with projects from start to finish independently. – Assist and mentor Junior developers where necessary. – Fast learner, willing to research, learn and implement new technologies. – Meticulous and pays attention to detail. Technical Requirements
The candidate should be familiar with (but not limited to) as many of following technical skills as possible. Not all skills are required, but will be beneficial.
– J2SE 1.4/1.5/1.6 + – J2EE Architecture – JSP – Servlets – JDBC – Swing – MVC pattern – JBoss JBPM JPDL – Eclipse IDE – AppFuse – Struts – Hibernate – Spring – SQL – HTML – XML – SOAP / Web Services – Apache Ant – Apache Axis – Apache Tomcat – MySQL Database & GUI Tools – CVS
