You will program primarily in Java for both the Windows and AIX platforms and will be challenged to solve hard, real-world problems. You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
A number of positions are currently available in both our international delivery team as well as in our global product development teams. Depending on which team you join, you may have the opportunity to travel internationally and to work directly with clients.
Skills:
We are looking for dynamic, talented software engineers who are ready for a challenge where teamwork, technical ability and problem-solving skills are essential.
We require the following skills:
Excellent object-oriented analysis, design and development skills
Experience using an OO language such as Java or C++. Java expertise with J2SE experience is preferred
Sound understanding of relational databases and SQL, including experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
A commitment to quality
The ability to work well in a team
The ability to communicate effectively – both verbal and written communication
Meeting any of the following additional criteria would be a plus: Experience using Python DB2 LUW experience AIX (ideally version 5) experience EFT industry experience
Experience:
We have a variety of positions open, so we will consider graduates as well as developers with work experience.
Minimum requirements:
A B.Sc, B.Com or B.Bus.Sci degree majoring in Computer Science, or An Electrical Engineering degree with Computer Science at 3rd year level, or A B.Tech degree with at least 2 years experience as full time developer in a professional development team.
In all cases, experience as a full time developer in a professional development team or an Honours degree in (or higher) in Computer Science, will be advantageous.

South African citizens only or Permanent residency
