Description:
Our client, an established IT concern located in Stellenbosch, has a vacancy for a Java Developer with 1 – 3 years relevant experience. The successful candidate will have previous exposure to building web-based applications using the technologies mentioned below.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree with Java as primary programming language
- 1 - 5 Years relevant experience
Key Performance Competencies
- Database development – Development against relations databases using JDBC
- Solid SQL knowledge (preferably on Oracle)
- Experience in XML, XSLT, JSP, Servlets. Custom Tags, HTML
- Knowledge of Flex, Spring, Struts, XML and XSLT
- General accounting knowledge would be advantageous
Some of the duties will include:
- Development and maintenance of web based Java applications using the following – HTML, Javascript, JSP, Servlets, Eclipse, Struts, EJB, Java Custom Tags, Flex, Spring, XML, XSLT.
