Working hours: 08:00 – 16:30, although flexibility is required and the successful candidate will often be expected to work outside normal working hours.
Duties: Website maintenance, front-end development and troubleshooting of websites and web portals • preparation, layout and electronic distribution of newsletters and other marketing material • optimisation of the search engine and flow of information • management of data in SQL databases.
Requirements: Computer literacy in MS Office • at least one year’s work experience in web development, preferably within a corporate environment • knowledge of and experience in HTML, XHTML, ASP.NET, CSS, XML, Flash integration, JavaScript, basic coding in C# and VB Script • high motivation levels, creativity and attention to detail • ability to work within a team, as well as with internal clients.
Recommendations: Knowledge of and experience in Adobe Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Fireworks and SQL Server 2005/2008.
Commencement of duties: As soon as possible
