Microsoft .Net developer
Our national client\‘s IT division requires a Microsoft .Net developer to assist with the development of windows and web based applications.
Duties:
Design, Develop, Implement and Support windows and web based applications.
Technical Requirements:
Essential – the person will have an in-dept knowledge
and experience in Microsoft development technologies such as C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, .Net framework, .Net compact framework, XML, SOAP, Web services, VB, T-SQL, stored procedures, SQL server,tiered application development, Microsoft standards & principles – best
practices)
Essential – At least 2+ years application development and
design experience
Essential – Experience developing Intranet/Internet and
windows applications
Essential – Experience in OO methodologies &
component building
Advantage – B.Sc. Information Systems / Computer
Science / relevant degree and relevant experience are
required
Advantage – Experience in mobile development (PDA,
tablet PC); GSM developments
Advantage – Microsoft MDSD.Net certification
Advantage – Experience in Share Point, InfoPath,
SourceSafe
Advantage – Insurance/Financial Services experience
Attributes:
Ability to apply industry best practices for application
architectures & standards
Ability to input into innovative solutions
Ability to work under pressure
Self motivated and a self-starter
