Software division of a large nation wide operating group is looking for a web developer to join our development team in Cape Town (Northern suburbs)
Candidate will be responsible for maintenance and enhancement of existing web based, database driven custom applications and the upgrade of classic VB ASP applications to ASP .Net as well as development of new, web based applications in a multi-server environment.
The position requires 1 to 2 years practical programming experience using Visual Studio 2005/ 2008 as well as strong database skills. A tertiary education is not required, but solid skills in using VB.Net, VB 6, HTML, SQL and Java Script are essential. Knowledge of C#, Web services and AJAX would be an advantage.
Salary 12.000 – 15.000 depending on experience
