Description:
Cape Town based Communications agency is looking for an individual who will implement and
maintaining Java/J2ME mobile applications. The individual will work closely with server developers
to create new features and expose existing functionality through the mobile applications. Must have
initiative and common sense to make design and implementation decisions. As they are not just a
mobile java developer but a mobile developer must be willing to grow and learn new languages as the
platforms the agency choose to work on change over time.

- Planning, designing and implementing a full mobile application for Java or Android or
Blackberry - Integrating with existing back-end services to interface with mobile application
Personal Development Responsibilities
- Proactively remain abreast of industry knowledge
- Self study and research in order to develop both technical and soft skills
- Actively knowledge-share with colleagues and sub-ordinates
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline – Essential
- 2 Years Work Experience within the field – Essential
