An online media company based in Cape Town CBD is looking for a talented Mid level .Net web developer. You will be working in an agile environment with a team of young, dynamic, and multi-skilled developers using the latest Microsoft technologies. The development team are responsible for building web based applications and web sites for well known online brands.
Skills and Competencies
• 4+ years working with .Net, C# and ASP .Net
• Well experienced in advanced web application development
• Solid experience in stored procedures and MS SQL server
• Client-side experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript etc
• Experience in XML related technologies (SOAP, WSE, XSD, etc)
• Solid VS 2008/2010 experience
• Willingness to learn and apply new technologies quickly
• Willingness to do pair-programming
• Passionate about technology and is naturally innovative
It will be a bonus if you have experience with any of the following
• Ext / JQuery
• Developing for mobile handsets using web technologies
• Previous experience on large internet sites and in an online publishing or social media environment
• .WCF,WPF, WF, MVC experience
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum team
