We are looking for an experienced PHP developer for a permanent position in Randburg. Must have practical experience developing customer-facing web applications. Experience with mobile internet a bonus. You will work on a existing in-house, highly active (millions of requests/day), user-focussed web application. You will need to deal with complex issues of performance and scalability, as well as having an architectural focus. The successful candidate will be a highly responsible, self-motivated individual with a passion for web development and user-experiences. You should be familiar with:
- Unix/linux – MySQL – PHP 5 – Java (advantage) – Memcached
We do not require any particular qualification, but be prepared to justify & prove your capabilities as this position is unusually demanding of skill and analytic ability.
