Our client an international software solutions provider company is looking for a design traffic controller. The Traffic Coordinator sets the stage for the successful completion of every project, ensuring excellent communication, and monitoring word processing, proofreading, design, and printing projects as they flow from the client through to final delivery. We’ll be looking to you to set systems in place for the most effective and efficient way to move jobs through. You will be responsible for scheduling, production, and on-time delivery of all creative work. Specifically, you’ll be creating schedules and estimates for all jobs and then coordinating on a daily basis to make sure everyone’s doing what they should be.

We are looking for the following:
Solid understanding and working knowledge of web and print production
Mastery of standard business and project management software, including Word, Excel, and PM
You should have at least 4 years hands-on experience in a traffic / production department at a design studio.
Receive, prioritise, and schedule requests for clients needing creative services.
Act as a liaison between client and creative services for all internal projects, assisting with gathering applicable details regarding goals, objectives, target audience and use of materials to be developed.
Review the accuracy and completeness of all requests before processing to the designers, vendors, etc., and work with requestors to complete/correct information.
Negotiate scheduling and oversee projects and jobs carried out by the department to ensure the timely delivery of quality products.
Direct department workflow to ensure smooth operations and a quality, timely product.
Collaborate with Designers to evaluate the need for freelance services.
Maintain and continually develop a list of freelance designers and other vendors who can be contacted with projects when needed.
Under the direction of the creative head, make initial contact with freelancers and ensure they are provided will all pertinent details to make efficient use of their time.
Project Management
Create project schedules, maintain job files, track and monitor progress, route projects
Conduct weekly traffic workflow meeting and maintain job log of projects in progress, distributing to each person in the group. Update job log as necessary throughout the week.
Communicate pertinent information about problems and anticipated problems within the creative services group in an accurate, complete, concise, and timely manner.
Strong administration and organisational skills.
