A company based in Pretoria that provides Information Technology solutions is looking for a Senior Delphi developer to join their development team.
Experience and Skills Required
-Matric Certificate.
-Relevant IT degree (BSc or B Tech).
-3 to 5 years relevant Delphi development experience.
-3 to 5 years relevant RDBMS development experience
-Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills.
-Shows initiative and acts independently to resolve problems.
-Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on projects to completion.
Responsibilities
70% New product development
-Attend product architecture and specification sessions.
-Develop new software modules utilizing:
-Front-end development (CodeGear™ Delphi® 2007 for Win32®)
-Back-end development (Firebird RDBMS)
-Triggers
-Stored procedures
-Reporting (HTML)
30% Application maintenance
-Perform application maintenance on previous developed modules
-Enhance and streamline previous developed modules
