Senior Java architect – Hyde Park – Johannesburg
Salary R 35 000 – R 50 000.00
A large company based in Hyde Park Johannesburg is looking to recruit a Senior Java architect with 4 + years experience in Java development.
To qualify for this position you need to have a relevant IT Degree or diploma and 4+ years Java software development experience with solid experience in SQL (MSSQL or MySQL Preferred). To excel in this position you need to be skilled in the following XML, XSL, Application server Experience (JBoss and Tomcat preferred), Object relational mapping experience, J2EE experience with web services and EJB’s. A nice to have is if you have experience in JSP and JSF as well as encryption technologies and Methodologies
You will be responsible for Development, maintenance and support on excising and new java applications, designing of databases, Liaise with BA’s in scoping and developing a project, Read, interpret and write functional specifications.
