Description:
We are looking for dynamic, talented software engineers who are ready for a challenge where teamwork, technical ability and problem/span>solving skills are essential. You will program primarily in Java for both the Windows and AIX platforms and will be challenged to solve hard, realworld problems.

Skills required:

• Excellent object-oriented analysis, design and development skills
• Experience using an OO language such as Java or C++. Java expertise with J2SE experience is preferred
• Sound understanding of relational databases and SQL, including experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• A commitment to quality
• The ability to work well in a team
• The ability to communicate effectively - both verbal and written communication

Meeting any of the following additional criteria would be a plus:

• Experience using Python
• DB2 LUW experience
• AIX (ideally version 5) experience
• EFT industry experience
• We will consider graduates as well as developers with work experience.

Requirements

• A B.Sc, B.Com or B.Bus.Sci degree majoring in Computer Science, or
• An Electrical Engineering degree with Computer Science at 3rd year level, or
• A B.Tech degree with at least 2 years experience as full time developer in a professional development team.
• In all cases, experience as a full time developer in a professional development team or an Honours degree in (or higher) in Computer Science, will be advantageous.
