Our Bryanston based client is a leading provider of premium digital media entertainment, content and services to multiple devices. They require a Senior OpenTV SDK Developer to join their team.
The candidate should have the following requirements:
• B.Sc. Computer Science or Engineering with Sun certification
• A minimum of 7 years experience in mobile application development.
• 2 to 4 years experience in leading teams in a mobile application development environment
• Extensive knowledge of Java midlet and or Symbian technologies
• Extensive experience with Java, J2ee and J2me
• Extensive knowledge of XML data driven applications.
• Knowledge of video over mobile would be a distinct advantage
• Experience in a broadcast environment would be an asset
You’ll be required to perform the following:
• Design and prototype mobile applications based on business requirements
• Design and maintain technical system requirements based on business needs.
• Develop mobile applications based on approved specifications and prototypes
• Develop, test, debug and maintain application code.
• Develop, update and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide mentorship to others in the development team
