Skills and experience
- 3-5 years of experience in ASP .net C# & IIS .net framework
- 3-5 years of experience in MS SQL Server, DB2
- Experience in database design and development
- Experience in building web applications
- Experience in peripheral hardware interfaces (eg barcode scanners, printers)
- Experience in TDD, CI, Source Control and Agile methodologies
- Solutions design based on business/product owner requirements
- Drafting of functional and technical specifications
- Software configuration (configuration of in-house/third party applications and components)
- Web application and database development within a team environment
- Management of estimates and timelines
- Understanding and application of best practices relevant to web application development (e.g. user centric design, code standards, architecture etc.)
- Strong technical leadership and mentorship
