PayJar, a division of MIH Internet Africa eCommerce has an exciting opportunity for a Senior .Net Developer who loves the thrill of working in a competitive landscape and can deliver on development targets.
The successful candidate will report to the Technology Development Manager and will be responsible for the design, support and development of products, services and systems for the company.
JOB OUTPUTS/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in creating innovative solution designs
• Develop well-documented advanced software
• Apply development methodologies and frameworks
• Comply with coding and documentation standards
• Work with cross-technology teams in order to deliver software/products
• Train and guide other developers in the technologies used

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years development experience
• 3+ years working with .Net, C#, ASP .Net, T-SQL
• Experienced in advanced web application development
• Solid experience in stored procedures and MS SQL 2005/8 Server
• Client side experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript etc
• B.Sc or BTech degree distinct advantage
• Solid Visual Studio 2005/8 experience
• Good understanding of computer science principles especially OOP, SOA and distributed programming
• Competent with web technologies and related architecture
• Experience in XML related technologies (SOAP, WSE, WCF, XSD, etc.)
• Previous experience on large internet sites and in transactional systems
