This is not a position for someone who likes being a cog in a wheel. You must be looking for the challenge of developing mission critical issuing infrastructure, rather than isolated projects.
This is not a position for someone who likes giant teams. You must enjoy being brilliant at what you do and getting things done on your own, rather than endless project meetings.
This is not a position for someone who needs their hand held. You must enjoy finding elegant and efficient ways to solve problems and enjoy the flexibility of being able to do this.
Experience in EFT or banking environments is a plus, but our primary requirements are excellent technical skills combined with the ability to get things done, good writing skills and a strong customer service attitude. Your previous experience in different languages or technologies is less important.
Developers get private offices, the best laptops money can buy, multiple monitors, flexible working hours, working with global clients and the chance to work among developers of your high level rather than with a junior team. We work to agile principles of user stories, scrums and sprints.
Position is in our Rivonia office. Annual salary of between R480 000 to R600 000 cost to company depending on skill level.

- Web front ends for reporting and card issuing (ColdFusion and Java)
- Desktop card issuing applications (Delphi)
- High volume/high availability core (SQL Server)
- Back end integration into banks, retailers, MasterCard, Visa, CRM systems (XML, ISO8583)
