My client is looking for a senior software engineer to join a new team in a leadership position with inclusion of an architecture role over time.
The candidate is responsible for delivering transaction processing solutions in the back office space using existing frameworks and designs.
Solutions include the import/export of large of amounts of transaction data from numerous sources, with many business rules to be applied, all on a single platform.
Technologies are C#, .NET 2.0, ASP.NET, and SQL Server 2005/8.
Importantly, most of the development work is performed on the database with C# services for plumbing and integration services.
In a short space of time, the candidate should be able to assist the team in implementing new solutions end-end on the existing frameworks and be able to contribute to the evolution of the underlying models.
The job will entail:
1. Strong understanding of customer business processes within the transaction processing space.
2. Conceptualising of end to end solutions using technologies, patterns, frameworks and platforms in place
3. Documentation of technical side of the Function Specs/Tech Specs/Wikis
4. Designing, Coding and Testing of solutions
5. Mentoring and assisting the team with their tasks
6. Augmenting the existing models as new generic/abstract functions required
7. Contributing to the product development vision and road map
