Description:
We are a fast growing mobile solutions company up the North Coast of Kwa Zulu Natal (Ballito) looking for a qualified software developer to join our team.
Candidates will have to pass a technical test.
Desired Education:
- Good matric results
- A tertiary qualification preferred – B Comm(IS) or B Sc (Computer Science)
- Sun Certification preferred
- 2-3 years systems Development and Design experience
- 1-2 years Java experience.
- Object-orientated techniques
- Preferred eXtream Programming methodology experience
- JEE (EJB, JPA, JSF)
- XML (JAXP, JAXB, XSLT)
- Design Patterns, UML Design skills
- Ant and JUnit
- Deliver technical implementation to agreed standards that address the business requirements within the agreed time frame.
- Construct system codes in line with the technical specification and delivered within the agreed time frame as per the project schedule.
- Test and identify all defects (Functional, System, Integration, Stress testing & UAT) and configure application build.
- Adherence to the current SDLC policy, agreed standards & policies.
- Manage time as agreed with regular status reports.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently, but is a team player.
- Ability to multi task
- Work without supervision.
- Ability to work in conditions of change.
- Must be flexible and open to learn new languages and architecture
- Have an attitude of owning a problem or task.
- Recognize the unique demands of IT regarding non-conventional working hours.

Remuneration:
- Up to 40k per month (Dependant on experience and outcome of technical test)
