Our client, a blue chip dynamic and innovative company is offering an exceptional opportunity for a professional project manager.
We are looking for someone with a tertiary education (preferably a Degree or Diploma).
PMP (Project Management Professional) qualification
Experience with PPM software (Portfolio and Project Management).
At least three years of dedicated Project Management experience is required, preferable with Software Development experience and involvement in SDLC (systems development life cycle).
Experience in a Managerial position is favorable.
Experience in the financial services, banking or insurance IT environment is highly preferable.
You will be responsible for applying and adhering to the Project Management principles and processes and ensuring that they are effectively applied throughout the lifecycle of the project, through to project closure and operational handover.
Effectively resolving issues.
Supporting, guiding, motivating and facilitating the project teams through the project processes.
Identification and management of risks and opportunities.
Communication of project progress to management and project stakeholders.Sound knowledge and understanding of systems and business environment.
A sound knowledge of project management theory, and the key areas of project management.
Ability to grasp concepts of a technical nature quickly, with a sound understanding of the underlying business environment.
Ability to multi-task, managing several projects concurrently.
