A Pan-African ICT enabler that is driving the development of the African internet environment seeks a Network Architect to deliver on customer designs & proposals. The person will translate customer business requirements into technical solutions. Products include:Internet Solutions, IPL, Ethernet, IP Transit





Design & Documentation

• 
  Preparing customer designs
• Analyse & understand business requirements and maps such to solutions
• Ensure that designs are deployable and can be supported
• Act as escalation point during the deployment should there be a problem
• Provide clear specifications for the engineers deploying the designs
• set up proof of concept labs and workshops for testing and complete the relevant documentation and ensures sign off thereof
• Assist in technology evaluations
• Control all requisite documentation
• Site surveys

Deployment of Design

• Ensure that all client solutions are implemented as per requirements
• Communicate effectively to necessary stakeholders
• Proactively look for ways to increase efficiency or save costs
• Report on relevant progress
• Understand and manage the customer requirements

Relationship Management

• Be the single point of contact for sales & customers.
• Build and maintain solid relationships with Third party vendors – partner management
• Establish long term relationship with the customer

Qualifications:

• Business Diploma
• Relevant Cisco Certification
• Telecoms Experience
