A major player in the IT Services arena, is looking for a SQL Developer to join their ranks. The successful candidate will require a minimum of 2 years experience designing and developing using SQL Server 2005/2008. Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary education, Degree or Diploma
Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008
2 years of experience using Crystal Reports
Minimum 1 year of experience using SQL Reporting Services
2 years of experience working in SQL development role in medium size corporate with application databases larger than 10Gb
Duties and Responsibilities:
Report Development using Crystal 8/9
Report Development using SQL Reporting Services
Database Design and Relational Integrity
Develop database solutions as per business requirement specification
Data extraction and manipulation using T- SQL
Designing and developing stored procedures, triggers and SQL queries
Develop SQL queries and re-index tables
Develop backup and restore strategy
Setting up the QA database environments and assisting in the database change control process
Develop SSIS Packages
Develop Views and Tables
Automating tasks via SQL scripts, VB scripts and stored procedures
Implementing triggers
Auditing of information in SQL environment via scripts
Generating monthly care reports via stored procedures and excel
Support and Troubleshooting of Microsoft SQL Server across accounts
Designing and maintaining a SQL Data warehouse
Designing of Cubes via Analysis Services
Knowledge of Xcelsius (Business Objects)
