Description:
We are currently searching for System Engineer with financial services experience to join a global consultancy that specializes in systems for the investment banking industry. In this role you will be part of a consulting team and will be involved in various complex systems implementations at major banks in Southern Africa. Your duties will include business analysis, systems analysis, systems implementation, configuration and customization. You will receive extensive training and will also have opportunities for international travel.
Candidates who do not have the following skills will not be considered – please therefore read the following thoroughly before sending through your CV:
-Experience with SQL Server 2005 or 2008 administration
-Strong SQL skills (Query writing, scripting, triggers & stored procedures)
-Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
-Experience with Windows Server Administration
-Active Directory, IIS, COM+
-Financial Services Experience (Banking, Insurance, OR Asset Management)
The following skills would be highly advantageous, but are not essential
-Experience with reconciliations systems
-Experience with software such as Intellisuite, Intellimatch, Intellitracs or StorQM
-ITIL or Prince 2 Certification
-Business analysis experience
