Systems Administrator
Acuity Consultants are looking for a Systems Administrator for a global software and technology vendor. This leading firm seeks an individual to manage and administer their security and software and hardware compliance. The position is junior, thus there will be opportunity to grow and develop within this rapidly expanding firm.
In this role you will work on the security procedure and software and hardware compliance for one of the company’s departments. You will provide daily support for the users and management. You will also provide daily reviews of the daily reports, and thereafter, monitoring and fixing of these daily reports.
There will be opportunity to quickly progress from the daily processing of the firm’s security to compliance and audit. This move will, in turn, open opportunities for you to manage the procedure and automation of the systems. Thus, the company offers many new and exciting challenges for candidates.
The minimum requirements for this position are: – A relevant IT diploma/certificate – 2 – 3 years experience with operating systems – 2 – 3 years IT security experience – 2 – 3 years experience with Windows Active Directory – 2 – 3 years experience with MS Office
Advantageous skills would be experience with: – Unix (FTP / SSH) – Solaris – Mainframe/ RACF – Scripting (VBS / Unix Scripts)
