An international automotive company is looking for two technical trainers to provide technical and apprentice training to the company’s dealer network and fleet owners.
We are looking for the following skills and knowledge:
Qualifications: Qualified tradesman (Diesel Mechanic); Certificate in Education, Training & Development (or related); Matric/ Equivalent.
Experience: 2-4 yrs similar technical training environment
Job related Knowledge required :
• NDSA product knowledge;
• Knowledge of the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) process;
• Knowledge of training legislation and NQF;
• Industry knowledge;
• Knowledge of internal Training quality management system.
You will be responsible for the following:
Strategic:
• Provide input to immediate managers on any recommended amendments/enhancements to any training materials, curriculum and/or interventions.
Operational:
• Understand the specific technical and apprentice training requirements in order to design, develop and roll out this training to the Dealer network and fleet owners.
• Align training courses and content to the stipulated legal requirements and outcomes, where applicable.
• Deliver the complete training cycle, ensuring that all related aspects/steps are completed and meet the necessary standards / requirements.
• Continuously maintain and broaden knowledge base of technological advancements as well as general training best practices to ensure NDSA training interventions are up to date and of quality.
Customer focus:
• Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding the sharing of information on all technical aspects and/or dealer processes.
